2. Products & Intellectual Property
All books, content, cover designs, author materials, and media listed on AmbikaShelf Library are the exclusive intellectual property of AmbikaShelf Publication and their respective authors.
- Purchasing a book grants you a personal, non-transferable license to read the content.
- You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, resell, publicly perform, or create derivative works from any purchased content without express written permission from AmbikaShelf Publication.
- eBooks purchased are for personal use only. Sharing, uploading, or distributing eBook files is a violation of copyright law and these Terms.
- Unauthorized distribution of our digital products may result in legal action under the Indian Copyright Act, 1957.
3. eBook Terms
- eBooks are delivered in PDF format immediately after successful payment.
- A download link is also sent to the email address provided at checkout.
- No refunds are provided for eBooks once the file has been accessed or downloaded, as digital goods cannot be returned.
- If you experience technical issues with your download, contact us within 24 hours of purchase at support@ambikashelf.in.
- AmbikaShelf Library is not responsible for incompatible devices, though our PDF format is universally compatible.
4. Paperback & Physical Book Terms
- Physical books are shipped across India only. We currently do not ship internationally.
- Standard delivery time is 7–10 business days from the date of order confirmation. Remote areas may take up to 14 days.
- Free delivery is provided on all paperback orders with no minimum order requirement.
- Cash on Delivery (COD) is not available. All orders must be paid online at the time of purchase.
- We are not responsible for delivery delays caused by courier companies, natural disasters, strikes, or circumstances beyond our control.
- Risk of loss or damage transfers to you once the package is handed to the courier. However, we will assist in resolving legitimate claims.
5. Returns & Refund Policy
Paperback Returns:
- Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery if the book is damaged, defective, or not as described.
- The book must be in its original, unread condition with packaging intact.
- To initiate a return, email support@ambikashelf.in with your Order ID, photos of the issue, and your contact details.
- Once the return is received and inspected, a refund will be processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method.
- Returns due to "change of mind" or personal dissatisfaction are not accepted.
eBook Refunds:
- No refunds are provided for eBooks once downloaded or accessed. This is a firm policy due to the digital nature of the product.
- We encourage customers to read the free preview available on the product page before purchasing.
6. Payments
- All payments are processed securely through Razorpay, a PCI DSS compliant payment gateway.
- We accept UPI, Debit/Credit Cards, Net Banking, and Digital Wallets.
- All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
- AmbikaShelf Library does not store any payment card information. All sensitive payment data is handled exclusively by Razorpay.
- In case of payment failure where your bank is debited but the order is not confirmed, the amount will be automatically refunded within 5–7 business days.
7. Coupon Codes & Offers
- Coupon codes are valid for a single use per customer unless otherwise stated.
- Coupons cannot be combined with other offers.
- AmbikaShelf reserves the right to modify, expire, or cancel any coupon code at any time without prior notice.
- Coupon codes have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash or credit.
8. User Responsibilities
- You agree to provide accurate personal and payment information during checkout.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account or order information.
- You must not use this website for any unlawful purpose or in any way that violates applicable laws.
- Any fraudulent activity, including chargeback abuse, will result in permanent ban from the platform and may be reported to authorities.
